Mary Queen of Scots Midst Beheading

Recycled version of my old black court gown with red wig, attifet, and lotsa blood and gore (too bad I don't have any closeup pix of the icky gaping cut wound I hand-made from wax and spirit gum and gunk!). "Midst beaheading" because it took three chops to knock her head off. Worn at the Famous Dead Person's Ball in 1993.





I later wore the same outfit -- minus the blood -- at the Northern Renaissance Faire. Pity that Mary never ran into her cousin Elizabeth...
