Tolkien is in my blood. When I was little, my mom made up bedtime stories out of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. In third grade, I finally started reading them for myself. When the film versions of the books came out, I felt like Peter Jackson had raided my own memories. The movies brought to life my childhood fantasy. So naturally I had to recreate some of those costumes. I've always wanted to be an elf!
