Sarah & Kendra came over on Saturday, & we got shit done! There was draping & cutting, & we all have bodices for our 12th Night gowns under way.<\/p>\n

I sewed my together today, but now I’m stymied on trim. The Isabella portrait<\/a> has no trim on the bodice, other than a few pearl clusters up near the neck & a boatload of jewelry, which, sure, I’d love to make & have stuff for, but still, that looks awfully plain. An unadorned black bodice is just boring & so not me. Also, remember, I’m not going for a strict recreation (never do that!), it’s just an inspiration. So here’s some trim ideas, using what I have in my stash, & I’m looking for opinions…<\/p>\n
