Petticoat is done! All that pleating nearly broke my brain, and it ain’t perfectly even ‘n stuff, but it’s done. And it looks awfully cute, so I’m glad I did it. Also glad that I made the petticoat extra full because it gives a really pretty silhouette. Add the polonaise and it’ll be all poufy froufy girly goodness.<\/p>\n

So all that’s left to do is hem the polonaise itself and add ruching on the bodice to cover the gaposis (which will be pinned shut when worn). Then I can start on the breeches and waistcoat and make my own accessories. The end is in sight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
