I missed a few Carnevale parties in 2022 because my luggage was delayed by four days. But I wore most everything around at some time, like this mishmasy-y fantastical outfit that’s kind of 1920s with an exotic flair. I just wanted an excuse to wear this gorgeous purple velvet cocoon coat with a fur collar that I got from Velvet Zephyr<\/a>. It’s over some cotton harem pants and a block-print vest. I made a large stuffed turban of hot pink silk sari scraps accented with feathers and jewelry findings. Then I wore loads of jewelry, some old, some from AliExpress, plus my vintage rhinestone glasses. Like I said, it’s a mishmash!<\/p>\n
