Movin’ Right Along (Cue Muppets)

Posted on June 13, 2006 by Trystan

Petticoat is done! All that pleating nearly broke my brain, and it ain’t perfectly even ‘n stuff, but it’s done. And it looks awfully cute, so I’m glad I did it. Also glad that I made the petticoat extra full because it gives a really pretty silhouette. Add the polonaise and it’ll be all poufy froufy girly goodness.

So all that’s left to do is hem the polonaise itself and add ruching on the bodice to cover the gaposis (which will be pinned shut when worn). Then I can start on the breeches and waistcoat and make my own accessories. The end is in sight.
