Distracted

I should be doing something productive, but instead, I’m fantasizing about costume … the costume is the zone-bodice 18th-century gown, because some delightful pale blue silk twill I ordered from Fashion Fabrics Club arrived last night (before I went out to dinner for my stepdad’s birthday). It’ll be the perfect contrast for the black embroidered linen caraco and bright blue barely-slubby dupioni petticoat. Blues, not usually my color, but they look completely gorgeous. I want to start on it immediately, but I can’t. The next two nights are full, and the weekend has a bunch of housekeeping and misc. crap to do. Alas. Besides, I have *no* reason to wear such a thing for about a year, 6 months at best. *sigh*
